    Turn it on

    Owners and managers open Settings › AI Connections, read the data notice and switch it on for the business.

    Paste one link into your AI tool

    Copy your link, add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and sign in to Automate AI. No API keys. Choose what it may do.

    Ask, then approve

    Ask your AI tool anything. If it prepares a message, an owner or manager checks it and the price in Automate AI, then approves it.

AI Connections FAQ

What is AI Connections?

It connects AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor to your Automate AI account. You can ask them about your contacts, chats, templates and campaign results, and they can add contacts or prepare messages if you allow it.

What is MCP?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to other software. Automate AI runs an MCP server, so you paste one link into your AI tool and sign in.

Can AI send WhatsApp messages on its own?

No. It can only prepare a message. An owner or manager opens it in Automate AI, checks the message and price, and approves it within 15 minutes. It then goes out the normal way and costs the same as any other send.

Which AI tools work with it?

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any AI tool that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in. ChatGPT offers this on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans; personal plans may be limited or read-only, and an admin may need to allow it.

Where does my customer data go?

Customer names, phone numbers and messages that an AI tool reads go to that AI company and are handled under its terms. That’s why each business reads a data notice before turning this on, and chooses which AI tools to connect.

Which plans include AI Connections?

Every Automate AI plan. There’s no extra charge from us, and messages you approve cost the same as any other send. Your AI tool’s own plan may have its own limits.

Who can connect an AI tool?

Owners and managers, from Settings › AI Connections. Each business turns it on itself. It isn’t available for businesses under a white-label reseller.

Can I see what an AI tool did, and stop it?

Yes. Every action shows in the activity log for 90 days, and you can disconnect a tool or turn AI Connections off at any time.

Do I need an API key or a developer?

No. You paste one link into your AI tool and sign in to Automate AI. API keys aren’t used.
